We offer expert tours through the MMC Film & TV Studios for the areas of directing, equipment, production and set design.
In the first hour, you will take a look behind the scenes of studio rooms, make-up sets and much more with the studio guide. In another hour, you will meet the professional of your choice, e.g. the technical director, the production director, the set designer...
Accompanied by the professional, you will continue through the area of your choice, as far as possible. Here you will have the opportunity to discuss specific questions and, if necessary, to have certain operations demonstrated directly.

Depending on availability, you will visit

• Control rooms
• Green-screen studio (here you can also get active yourself!)
• various set constructions and outdoor backdrops
• Stage construction workshops
• make-up room
• the selection with your professional
• you will see a short video-based introduction about the use of visual effects (VFX) in TV series and movies
• Finally, you are invited to take your personal souvenir photo in our Hollywood corner or in front of the press photo wall

MMC Film & TV Studios Cologne - home of TV series like "Unter uns" or "Alles was zählt" and the production site of numerous TV shows like "Let's Dance", "Die Höhle der Löwen"," X Factor," "Genial Daneben," "Das Spiel beginnt!" and many more. Be there where Sir Ben Kingsley made cinema history in the historical epic "The Medicus."
The tour can be supplemented by a subsequent one-hour TV workshop, "And Action 1," where you can take action yourself. Go in front of and behind the camera, look over the director's shoulder and then discuss the recording with the professionals in picture and sound direction. As a highlight, you will receive the film recordings on DVD 1 week later. The event is suitable for wheelchair users.

Note: The maximum surcharge per group is 40,00 €*. Therefore, even if three surcharges are due per guided tour, please enter only two.
* All prices are final consumer prices according to § 25 UStG. For companies, depending on the taxation, the statutory VAT will be charged additionally. According to this paragraph we are subject to the special regulation for travel agencies within the taxation of travel services. Arrival by train:
From Cologne main station take streetcar line 5 direction Butzweilerhof/Ossendorf to
last stop "Sparkasse am Butzweilerhof". Further 8-10 minutes walk, see map.

Arrival by car A57 exit Longerich:
Coming from Cologne, follow the signs to "Butzweilerhof" and "Medienzentrum". Turn left onto "Millitärringstraße", next left onto "Alte Escher Straße", then turn right onto "Von-Hünefeld- Straße".
Coming from Krefeld/Neuss, go straight across the intersection onto "Von-Hünefeld- Straße". MMC is located on the left side. There is a large parking lot in front of the building.

Parking fee: 3,50 € / 1 hour - each additional hour 2,50 €. There are free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

The tour is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

Please note that MMC Studios is not a museum or a scenery park, but an active production facility where the many shows, series and movies you love to watch on TV or in the cinema are filmed every day. Therefore, please understand that we cannot show you all studios and rooms on the MMC premises due to production reasons, that we are not allowed to visit rehearsals and shoots in progress, and that there may be changes to the program at short notice due to ongoing productions and work processes.The studio rooms are not heated and the studio tour also takes place outside.
We ask that you dress appropriately.
