MMC Film & TV Studios Cologne - home of TV series like "Unter uns" or "Alles was zählt" and the production site of numerous TV shows like "Let's Dance", "Der Deutsche Comedypreis", "Das Spiel beginnt!", "X Factor", "Genial Daneben", "Die Höhle der Löwen" and many more. Be where Sir Ben Kingsley made cinema history in the historical epic "The Medicus." Find out how a studio or series set is equipped, how green-screen shots are made, how many employees are needed to make a TV production a reality, what happens during commercial breaks or what it feels like to stand in front of a running camera yourself. These and many other questions will be answered during a 90-minute guided TV tour.

• Various set buildings and outdoor backdrops
• Stage construction workshops
• Make-up room

You will see a short video-based introduction about the use of visual effects (VFX) in TV series and films.
Finally, you are invited to take your personal souvenir photo in our Hollywood corner or in front of the press photo wall
Please note that MMC Studios is not a museum or a scenery park, but an active production facility where the many shows, series and movies you love to watch on TV or in the cinema are shot every day. Therefore, please understand that we cannot show you all studios and rooms on the MMC premises due to production reasons, that we are not allowed to visit rehearsals and shoots in progress, and that there may be changes to the program at short notice due to ongoing productions and work processes. The studio rooms are not heated during the winter season and the studio tour also takes place outside. We ask that you dress appropriately. The tours are suitable for wheelchair users.

Participants from 7 to 16 years, as well as pupils, students, severely handicapped persons from 70% are entitled to a discount. Please always show your ID before the tour! Children up to 6 years are free of charge!

GROUP SIZE
the group rate is valid for a minimum of 20 participants
of course we also arrange a desired date for groups with less than 20 participants. Please note, however, that you will then have to pay for at least 20 participants or you can book yourself into an existing guided tour as an individual guest in the SHOP.

Parallel tours up to 200 persons - offset up to 400 persons - possible. Please contact us for large groups of more than 200 participants.
SUGGESTIONS - at certain times and for foreign languages the price of the guided tour increases as follows

for foreign languages 20,00 €* one time per group - please let us know your wish
evening tours start from 20:00 20,00 €* one time per group 
on Sundays and public holidays 20,00 €* once per group
Note: The maximum surcharge per group is 40,00 €*. Therefore, even if three surcharges are due per guided tour, please enter only two.

* All prices are final consumer prices according to § 25 UStG. For companies, depending on the taxation, the statutory VAT will be charged additionally. According to this paragraph we are subject to the special regulation for travel agencies within the taxation of travel services. Therefore, in the case of private individuals, a separate VAT is not allowed. For companies subject to VAT, the statutory VAT is additionally charged on the total price.

11 days before the appointment you can cancel free of charge
10 - 4 days before the date 50 % of the total price will be charged
from 3 days before the date 100 % of the total price will be charged
