What should I do if I forget my ticket for the TV Backstage Tour?
In principle, you are listed on-site with our tour guide via your booking name so, in exceptional cases, you can also participate in the tour without a personalized ticket.
Furthermore, it is possible to present your ticket on your smartphone at the event.
Order confirmation, checklist, and terms and conditions will be sent to you by e-mail after purchase.

How many days in advance do I need to book?
Depending on the request of the tour and the time, we can still organize a tour for you up to 3 hours before the appointment. For tours at short notice, please contact us by phone at 0221-9469 6616.
The following applies to the TV Backstage Tour: Tickets can be booked in our shop up to 30 minutes before the event, via PayPal or instant bank transfer. -
Can I meet a celebrity during the TV Backstage Tour?
Since you are on a site where almost 70% of the well-known TV formats are produced, it can of course happen that you run into someone known from film and television behind the scenes. Of course, there is no guarantee for this! Our celebrity TV backstage tours with Holger Franke from UNTER UNS take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets are available in our shop. What will I see during a studio tour?
Depending on availability, you will see studio rooms, control rooms, make-up rooms, workshops, the outdoor sets of "Alles was zählt" or "Unter Uns" and more during a guided tour. Please understand that for production reasons it is not always possible to see all studios and that the schedule and content may change daily.
Further information about the outdoor sets of "Alles was zählt" and "Unter Uns": Since filming takes place in the sets every day, it is not possible to visit every tour. In general, the probability is higher on weekends than during the week. -
How much does a studio tour cost?
TV BACKSTAGE TOUR
INDIVIDUALS: Adults pay 15,00€ per person, or 24,00 € for the Celebrity Tour
Pupils/students/disabled persons from 70% pay 11,00€ per person, or 18,00 € for the celebrity tour.
Children up to 6 years are free of charge!
GROUP BOOKING FROM 20 PERSONS: Adults pay 12,00€ per person, or 20,00 € for the Celebrity Tour. Pupils/students/disabled persons from 70% pay 9,50€ per person, or 15,00 € for the celebrity tour. Please note that we are entitled to fill up the tour with additional individual guests. Persons entitled to a discount are asked to show their ID card before the tour!
EXCLUSIVE GUIDE: without additional individual guests. Flat rate up to max. 20 persons:
300,00€, or 500,00 € for the celebrity tour.
Foreign language surcharge 20,00 € flat rate.
* All prices are final consumer prices according to § 25 UStG. For companies, the statutory value-added tax will be charged additionally.
QUIZTOUR
GROUP BOOKING FROM 20 PERS.: Adults pay 18,00€ per person. Pupils/students/disabled persons from 70% pay 13,00€ per person.
The quiz tour will not be replenished with additional individual guests. -
Is the tour suitable for wheelchairs or people with walking difficulties?
As a rule, the description of each tour states whether it is suitable for wheelchairs. If you have a group with only disabled participants and wheelchair users, please contact us for consultation.
The following applies to the TV Backstage Tour:
The tour takes place mainly at ground level and wheelchairs or strollers are generally not a problem. However, since the content of the tour changes daily, it cannot be ruled out that you may have to face physical obstacles. This is the case in the control room, for example. In addition, one or the other room to be visited may also be located on the second floor. This is rarely the case, but it is possible that a wheelchair user may not be able to visit this part of the tour. For persons with walking disabilities, it should be noted that due to the size of the site, a long distance must be covered on foot and there are not many opportunities to sit down. -
How can I book guided tours?
How can I book?
For group bookings or inquiries: please use our booking form or contact us by phone at 0221-9469 6616. For groups of 20 or more, we will schedule a preferred date for tours. Please note that for the TV Backstage Tour we are entitled to fill up the tour with additional individual guests. If you do not want this, you can book an exclusive tour.
Individual customers can use our online store to book the TV Backstage Tour on the Internet around the clock.

- Pay conveniently via PayPal or Sofortüberweisung and print ticket as Print@Home
Customers who do not have this payment system or a printer can pay by invoice for a fee or receive their documents by mail. Simply click on the desired option in the booking process. INFO: Please note that bookings by invoice or by mail require a processing time of at least three days. For on-site registrations, a ticket printout is not necessary. You are listed with our tour guides on your booking name and thus receive admission to the tour! ATTENTION! Short-term bookings for the TV Backstage Tour at the weekend! If there are no more tickets available in our shop, you can also buy them at Köln Ticket. Köln Ticket prices are incl. advance booking fee and plus handling charges.

Cancellation policy: You can cancel your contract within 14 days without giving reasons in writing (eg letter, fax, e-mail). The period begins after receipt of this instruction in text form, but not before the conclusion of the contract and also not before fulfillment of our information obligations pursuant to Article 246 § 2 in conjunction with § 1 paragraph 1 and 2 EGBGB and our obligations pursuant to § 312g paragraph 1 sentence 1 BGB in conjunction with Article 246 § 3 EGBGB. Consequences of revocation: In the event of an effective revocation, the services received by both parties shall be returned and any benefits derived (e.g. interest) shall be surrendered. If you are unable to return or surrender the received services and benefits (e.g. benefits of use), or are only able to do so in part or in a deteriorated condition, you must compensate us for the loss of value. This may mean that you must nevertheless fulfill the contractual payment obligations for the period until revocation. Obligations to refund payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The period begins for you with the dispatch of your notice of revocation, for us with its receipt.
Special notes: Your right of revocation expires prematurely if the contract has been completely fulfilled by both parties at your express request before you have exercised your right of revocation. -

Are you still looking for a short-term gift?
You can print out gift vouchers for our popular TV Backstage Tours quickly and easily via our store (see also "What does print@home mean?") We will be happy to send you the gift vouchers by post! Please note that a fee of 5,00€ will be charged for this and the sending can take up to 7 days! The voucher is valid for three years from the date of purchase!
REDEEM HELIKON EVENTS VOUCHER
Please check first if your voucher is from Helikon-Events. Then look for your desired date in the store on our site. When ordering, simply enter the respective voucher code in the discount field and then click on the "activate" button. The voucher will then be checked and the voucher will be deducted from the total amount.
ATTENTION: if you have several vouchers, you must make an individual booking request for each voucher! INFO: It is also possible to redeem a Helikon-Events voucher, e.g. for a guided tour in the Fragrance Museum, when purchasing another guided tour, such as a studio tour!
YOU HAVE A VOUCHER FROM COLOGNE TICKET
Please send us your order via our contact form and note the voucher numbers. Please be sure to write that you purchased the voucher from Köln Ticket. We will then send your booking confirmation to your e-mail address within 24 hours.
YOU HAVE A VOUCHER BOOK OR THE FEAST BLOCK
If one person pays the full adult price, you can take one person with you free of charge! To do this, select an item in your shopping cart and indicate in the comments field later in the order process that you are traveling with a coupon book or Schlemmerblock. We enter you accordingly in the tour with the person extra. The section from the voucher book or gourmet block must then be handed in on-site during the tour. Attention: it must ALWAYS be purchased for a full-paying person, even if, for example, two students want to participate in the tour
YOU HAVE A KÖLN CARD OR THE ADAC CREDIT OR CLUB CARD
Validity of the discount: 2x persons per ADAC card!
KölnCard/ADAC credit or club cardholders receive a 33% discount on the normal price of the TV Backstage Tour. I.e. you can click on the reduced price as an adult in our online store or at Köln Ticket. The discount applies to adults only. Unfortunately, pupils and students do not receive a discount.
For ADAC credit or club cardholders, there is an additional 25% discount on the adult rate for the PROMI TV Backstage Tour. Again, simply book in our online store or at Köln Ticket for the discounted price!
IMPORTANT: You will be asked to show your current Köln Card or ADAC credit or club card on site. Please note that the difference must be paid on-site if no valid Köln Card or ADAC credit or club card is present! -
What does "print@home" mean?
For selected guided tours or vouchers, it is possible to purchase print@home tickets. What's special about print@home is that you can print out the tickets on your own printer on the paper of your choice directly after booking. The process is very simple: You buy your desired tickets and select print@home as the delivery method. At the end of the booking process, a pdf will be sent to the email address you provided, giving you admission to the event. All you need is a free pdf reader, e.g. from Adobe, and a standard DIN A4 printer. For the sake of the environment, we recommend showing your ticket via cell phone. Basically, you are listed on-site with our tour guides via your booking name and can also participate in the tour without a ticket. Have fun at the event!

Will I get the tickets sent to me?
For each booking, you will receive a booking confirmation by e-mail, which is also valid as an admission ticket. Only for the TV Backstage Tour will individual guests receive a ticket to print out after booking. In principle, however, all participants are also listed on your booking name on-site and can also participate in the tour without a ticket or booking confirmation. You can also show your ticket or booking confirmation via your cell phone. If you book the TV Backstage Tour via the store, you have the option to print out your ticket yourself using the Print@Home function. This is not associated with additional costs!

How does the "ticket insurance" of my order work?
Information on ticket reimbursement in case of illness
We will reimburse you for the cost of the booked TV Backstage Tour if you are unable to attend due to illness.

From what age do children pay?
In principle, the exact age information is given in the description of each guided tour. As a rule, children up to and including the age of six are free of charge. Adults are those who have reached the age of 16. However, as a 17-year-old can still be a pupil or a student, the reduced price applies here.
Please note that valid identification must be presented before the tour without being asked!
The following applies to the TV Backstage Tour:
Children up to and including 6 years of age are free of charge! Participants from 7-16 years pay from 11,00€ per person. The tour is suitable for strollers. -
Is it allowed to take pictures or record videos in the TV studios?
Yes, photography and filming is permitted in some areas. You will find out where during the guided tour.

How can I pay - Can I also pay on site?
When booking through the shop, you can choose between the payment methods PayPal, Sofortüberweisung or prepayment (bank transfer). Please note that payment in advance incurs an additional fee of € 5.00! This does not apply to group bookings of 20 or more participants! For group bookings, you will receive an invoice in advance, which usually has to be paid 30 days in advance. Pay on site? Unfortunately, on-site payment in cash is not possible for the TV Backstage Tour.
